In celebration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 98th Birthday on November 22, 2023, Day 5 at Koti Samithi was marked by a heartwarming gesture. Prasadam, a delectable lunch, was served to 55 members, including boys, girls, staff, and trainees in tailoring from Sri Sathya Sai Skill Development Training Centre, at Kunta Road School Premises. The meal, served from 12 noon to 2 pm, included a sumptuous spread of Sambar, Rice, Dosa Aava Pickle, Buttermilk, and Sweet Rava Kesari.
The distribution commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Sri Manik Prabhu, followed by the recitation of 5 bhajans. The offering, known as Brahmarpanam, was then distributed meticulously with discipline, devotion, and dedication. A total of 400 members partook in Swamy's prasadam in connection with Sri Sathya Sai Baba's Birthday Celebration at Koti Samithi. Active sevadal members, including Sri P Prakash, Smt Vaani, Smt Vijaya Lakshmi, Sri Ramu, Sri Rama Rao, Smt Anitha, Smt Sruti, Sri Gubba Sagar, and Sri Prabhakar, actively participated in the event.
After serving the delicious meal, the sevadal members themselves enjoyed some sweet prasadam and concluded the ceremony with an offering of Aarathi to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu, led by Sri Ramu Garu and Convenor P Visweswara Sastry. The Convenor expressed gratitude to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Varu and Hyderabad District President Sri A. Malleswara Rao for sending the Prasadam from Sivam, and extended prayers for all the sevadal members.
