Day 7: Kalaratri Puja

• Kalaratri, a fierce form of Goddess Durga, is worshipped on the seventh day.
• People offer prayers to seek her protection and strength to overcome obstacles.

Day 8: Mahagauri Puja and Durgashtami

• The eighth day is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Mahagauri, the goddess of purity and peace.
• Devotees observe fasts and perform special rituals to seek her blessings.

Day 9: Ayudha Puja and Navami

• The ninth day is known as Ayudha Puja, where people worship their tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• It is believed that Goddess Durga blesses these objects to bring success in their respective endeavors.

Day 10: Vijayadashami (Dasara)

• The tenth day, also known as Vijayadashami, marks the victory of good over evil.
• People celebrate by participating in processions, cultural events, and exchanging gifts.
• In many places, effigies of Ravana, the demon king, are burned to symbolize the victory of Lord Rama over evil.

With the Divine blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sri Sri Satya Sai Nath, the Koti Samithi of Sri Satya Sai Seva Organizations conducted the Shodashopachara Puja by Mahila devotees in front of our Lord on the auspicious occasion of Bhadrapada Shuddha Saptami, a highly sacred Friday, falling on the 22nd of this month, i.e. September 22, 2023.

This divine event was graced by the presence of revered ladies such as Smt. Kalpana, Smt. Jyoti, Smt. Jyoti Sagar, Gubba Lavanya, and Smt. Jhansi, & Shrimati Shaileswari. With utmost devotion, they performed the Shodashopachara Puja for our beloved Swami, offering kumkum, & Ganesh, Guru, and Devi bhajans bhajans were sung. Everyone participated with great enthusiasm in celebrating Swami's 98th birthday. The Mahanivedana was beautifully presented, followed by the divine Mangala Neerajana.

In the precincts of the Sivam temple, during this Ganapati Navaratri, a wonderful opportunity was provided to celebrate this divine occasion with a sense of gratitude and appreciation for our beloved Swami, who graced us with His divine presence in connection with 98th Birthday Celebrations.

August 5 marked the beginning of this divine journey, and today, on this auspicious day, we completed 48 days of this sacred endeavor, expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Swami once again.

3) Cambridge High School, Badechowdi, Hyderabad Total Students 32 students participated.

Motivated some more schools but the management is not co-operative and permission not given to hold the competitions.

Smt Renuka, Smt Kalpana, Smt Shaileswari, and Smt Sree Sithamahalakshmi have conducted the above competitions.
